Botter

The founders of the brand are Rushemy Botter and Lisi Herrebrue, graduates of the Royal Academy of Fine Arts in Antwerp. Rushemy met Lisi when she was interning at Viktor & Rolf in Amsterdam. Together, the couple launched the brand, which was remembered by fashion critics for its bold combination of sporty silhouettes and classic tailoring elements, as well as bright color combinations. The choice of predominantly cheerful colors in the collections is easy to explain: the couple is inspired by playful patterns in the spirit of the Caribbean, where Rushemy comes from. In 2018, Botter was nominated for the prestigious LVMH Prize.
