Mowalola

Mowalola Ogunlesi was born in Nigeria but moved to the UK at the age of 12 to study, where she completed a BA at Central Saint Martins, where fashion legends such as Alexander McQueen, Stella McCartney and Riccardo Tisci studied. Mowalola had her first show at London Fashion Week in 2019, supported by Fashion East, and made a strong impression on the audience with her avant-garde, full of sexual energy pieces, which began her rapid rise to fame. In addition to her own brand, inspired by the Nigerian rock scene of the 70s, the designer has also collaborated with Kanye West on the YZY GAP creation.
