DINGYUN ZHANG

DINGYUN ZHANG is a designer from China, one of the most unusual contemporary creators, a master of increased proportions and volumetric forms. Already at 16, the future designer goes to the UK to study first art at the University of Somerset, and then menswear design at the cult college Central Saint Martins. Already in his second year of study, the designer got a job at YEEZY: at first he was responsible for technical sketches, selection of shades and other small tasks, and later began working personally with Kanye West and developing, at his request, entire new models of clothing, shoes and accessories. After this, the designer decided to focus on his own brand and carried out numerous collaborations, including with Moncler Genius. DINGYUN ZHANG clothing is designed in abstract forms, where the quality and durability of the textiles symbolize the cycle of life, and the layers are reminiscent of those living in extreme habitats.
